As of spring 2025, women’s restroom stalls at Unibet Arena are now equipped with free dispensers for pads and tampons. This is a small but meaningful step toward providing a more comfortable, considerate, and inclusive experience for our visitors.
We believe that periods should never cause embarrassment, stress, or disrupt daily life. Yet studies show that 86% of women have had their period start unexpectedly in a public setting – and 1 in 5 have had to leave an event or cut their plans short due to a lack of access to period products. That’s why we believe free menstrual care should be as standard in public restrooms as toilet paper or soap. Whether it’s an emergency or you simply forgot to pack your essentials, no one should be left without.
In partnership with the Swedish company Herbox, we now offer chemical-free period products made from 100% organic cotton. They contain no perfumes, plastic film, or artificial absorbents and are produced sustainably – with both the body and environment in mind. Herbox dispensers are fully mechanical and don’t require electricity or batteries. They’re equipped with a built-in delay that allows one product to be dispensed at a time, making sure supplies remain available for everyone who needs them. Herbox works with thousands of schools, companies, sports clubs, and municipalities across Europe to make free menstrual products a new standard in public restrooms – supporting health, sustainability, and gender equality.
All Herbox dispensers are manufactured locally in Gothenburg, Sweden, following a circular production model. They’re built from recycled materials and, when units wear out or break, the used devices are collected and reprocessed into raw material for new ones. Herbox’s goal is for all dispensers to be made entirely from recycled components. Additionally, Herbox donates 1% of its profits to Kvinna till Kvinna, an organization that supports women’s rights in conflict-affected regions around the world.
